Moscow claims this proves Western countries have plans to strike Russia and summoned Germany’s ambassador for an explanation. Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, criticized Western ambassadors for interfering in Russian affairs and questioned their presence in the country. Additionally, Zakharova stated that if Berlin takes action against Russian journalists, Germany’s journalists might be expelled from Russia.
