A business group from China has warned about the potential for increased tariffs on car imports as a response to actions taken by the US and the European Union regarding Chinese electric vehicles. The China Chamber of Commerce to the EU, based in Brussels, stated that insiders had informed them that Beijing is contemplating temporary additional tariffs on imported cars with large-displacement engines.
