Bayern Munich's Josip Stanisic out for ‘several weeks' with knee ligament injury

Bayern Munich defender Josip Stansic will be sidelined for “several weeks” after sustaining a collateral ligament injury in his right knee during a training session. The 24-year-old played the entirety of Bayern’s recent victory over Ulm in the DFB Pokal. Stansic, who spent last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen, played for Croatia in two European Championship group-stage matches.
