Only half of the 38 planned breweries in 2022 actually opened. Thirteen breweries are planning to open their first location or expand into a second one in 2023.
According to Mass. Brew Bros. is a small business that works with the Massachusetts Brewers Guild to collect data. However, the number may increase in the coming months.
